RESPONSE DATES IN GENERIC LETTERS.

-In issuing generic letters, we frequently require a response by a certain date, normally x days after the date'of the-letter.. Florida Power and Light Company has received these letters as much as two weeks after that date and hence loses half of the time permitted for the response if it is a 30-day request. -In requesting additional information, we generally ask-for a -response within 30 days after receipt of the letter.

I recommend that we use this same approach for generic letters.
