Dear Dr. Morris:
This letter will serve to confirm our telephone conversation of the other day with reference to the accident at the Monticello NSP Nuclear Plant on the '.4th of July,1971, and to the discharge of radioactivity by the reactor.
As discussed with you by phone, complete infonnation has not been made available to the agency. As a member of the agency, I spent my own money j
to call you so that this report on the accident at Monticello could be made available to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
t l'm also interested to learn how much monitorir the Atomic Energy Commission 7
j does at Monticello, when it does this, and how ic does this.
I am certain,
, Dr. Morris, that the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and its members, and the staff, and the public would like to see the reports of the radio-activity discharges from Monticello.
I will appreciate receiving your assistance in this matter with the complete information on the release of radioactivity.
Sincerely-h.
