Location of Containment High Range Radiation Monitors Gentlemen:

In Reference (b) above, Maine Yankee provided the basis for locating our post accident high range containment monitor, as well as, an evaluation of an alternate location.

Subsequent discussions with members of your staff have indicated that the alternate location is preferable.

Therefore, Maine Yankee will relocate one of the containment high radiation detectors as described in Reference (b).

We understand that you find this location acceptable and in full conformance with the guidance provided in NUREG-0737, Item II.F.1-3.
