SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT No. 50-443/92-27
This refers to the safety inspection Ondings of the re:.ident staff at Seabrook Station for the
period of November 17-December 21,1992. The inspection results are described in the
enclosed report and were discussed with Mr. W. DiProfio of your staff.
Overall, this inspection found that activities were conducted safely. Operators performed in a
meticulous manner during three reactor startups and following two reactor trips which were
caused by equipment problems. Auxiliary operators identified equipment deficiencies and
initiated corrective actions which indicated competent and thorough performance of routine
rounds.
