t NRC-02-90-009-Modification-No. 12 Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this modification is to (1) increase the contract ceiling by
$915,522 from $2,647,815 to $3,563,337 and (2) exercise the first year option by_ extending the period of performance.
Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
- 1. Paragraph;a. of Section B.2 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
- a. The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and accepted under this contract is $3,563,337. The Contracting Officer may unilaterally increase this amount as necessary for orders to be placed with the Contractor during the contract period provided such orders are within any_ maximum ordering limitation prescribed under this contract."
- 2. Paragraph F.6 " DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD (MAR 1987) ALTERNATE IV" is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
The contract period shall commence on ' January 29, 1990 and shall expire on January 28, 1994.
NOTE: "By acceptance of this modification, the contractor agrees to waive the requirement in Section I.4 (FAR 52.217-9) for the Government to issue a preliminary notice of its intent to exercise the option."
A summary of obligations for this contract, from award date through-the date of this action is given below:
