In a letter dated August 9, 1992 you requested an extension of the public coment period for the proposed rule " List of Approved Spent fuel Storage Casks: Additions" (57 FR 28645). As explained in the_ enclosed-Federal Register Notice, the NRC has reopened the comment period-for an additional 30 days to provide an opportunity for public comment on additional information which has been placed in the public document rooms.
