As a result of the inspection conducted on April 30, May 1-2, and May 6-9, 1985,

.and in accordance with the General Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement

Actions, (10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C), the following violation was identified:

10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion VI, as implemented by the Comonwealth Edison
Operations Quality Assurance Program, requires that measures be established to
ensure that documents, including changes, are distributed to and used at the
i
location where the prescribed activity is perfonned.
Contrary to the above, the inspector identified that an outdated specification
had been used by engineering to disposition 22 discrepancy records which were
written on emergency diesel generator spare parts.

This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement I).
The inspection showed that action had been taken to correct the identified
item of noncompliance and to prevent recurrence. Consequently, no reply to
this item of noncompliance is required and we have no further questions
regarding this matter.
