1.1 Pages Affer.ted by the Change 17.1-5, 17.1-7, 17.1-9, 17.1-10, 17.1-11 1.2 Identification of the Change The Vice President - Nuclear Group has assumed total responsibility for the Beaver Valley No.

2 Unit.

This responsibility includes the supervision and control of Stone and Webster and all other contractors and consultants, as well as all phases of the start-up operations.

11e responsibilities of the positions of Vice President - Nuclear Construction and Vice President General Services have been reassigned.

The newly created position entitled Vice President of Special Nuclear Projects will report directly to the Vice President Nuclear Group.

Figure 17.1-1A, attached, has been revised to reflect the current titles and reporting assignments.

1.3 Reason for the Change t

Engineering and construction work of Beaver Valley Unit No. 2 is nearing completion, and there is increasing activity in the area of turnover of plant systems and subsystems from construction to operations.

1.4 Basis for concluding that the revised program incorporating this change l

continues to satisfy the criteria of 10CFR50, Appendix B and the Safety j

Analysis Report Quality Assurance Program description commitments previously accepted by the NRC.

The administrative changes made still provide for the organizational freedom necessary for the QA Program to operate in accordance with the l

requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix B.
