50BJECT: ACCEPTABILITY OF CHANGE TO REVISION 7 0F CENPD-210-A This letter is in response to your letter of October 16, 1992, which describes proposed changes to the ABB Combustion Engineering (ABB-CE) Nuclear Fuel organization and their effect on the ABB-CE Nuclear Quality-Assurance (QA)

Program.

Since the changes described in your letter do not impact commitments made in ABB Combustion Engineering Nuclear Power's Quality Assurance Topical Report CENPD-210-A, Revision 7, and all quality functions and their associated 1

organizational independence have been retained, we find the changes do not reduce the commitments of the ABB Combustion Engineering Nuclear Power's 4

j Quality Assurance Topical Report. Therefore, the program remains acceptable.

Please issue the organizational changes described in your letter of October 16, 1992, together with this acceptance letter, to all holders of the ABB-CE QA Topical Report.
