NSP MONTICELLO NUCLEAR PLANT - DRL REQUEST NO. 1 FOR INFORMATION ON NORTHERf * 'ATES POWER COMPAh"t - DOCKET NO. 50-263 At 2:00 p.m. on December 2,1966, representatives of General Electric and Northern States Power Company met with members of the DRL staff at Bethesda to review a list of questions prepared by DRL.
The questions excluded any reference to the reactor vessel since Amendment 2 covering field e ection of the reactor vessel, recently received, has not been completely evaluated.
The central theme of the meeting was that the DRL questions are too detailed and in some respects, according to GE would waste GE technical manpower in supplying information which they felt was not needed for sizing equipment.
The questions were hastily reviewed, some individually and some generally, with no clear formula emerging to assist in the decision to accept or reject any of the questions.
No final disposition of the DRL questions was made at the meeting.
It was implied that there would be further conversations on the telephone, December 5, 1966 in this regard.
