to Stress Corrosion Cracking In a letter dated September 15, 1977 from Mr D K Davis, Acting Chief, Operating Reactors Branch #2, Division of Operating Reactors, we were requested to review all Monticello piping for material which is sus-captible to stress corrosion cracking and submit a program of augmented surveillance and inspection if necessary. We were asked to comple' e this task within 90 days.
t We are now in the process of assembling the information requested in Mr Davis's letter of September 15, 1977. We will be unable to complete this work within the allowed S0 days, however. - We believe this work can be completed, including submission of a License Amendmene Request with the required proposed Technical Specification changes, by January 31, 1977.
