PROPOSFD LICENSE CONDITION, SAFEGUARDS SEP INPUT AND UP-TO-DATE FACILITY ATTACHMENT -
ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNIT 2 (At0-2)
On July 1,1983, ANO-2 was chosen by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), from the U.S. Eligible List, to come under the US/IAEA Safeguards Agreement. Enclosed are a proposed License Condition, a Safeguards SER input and an up-to-date Fecility Attachment for ANO-2.
The approved Design Information Questionnaire, submitted by the Itcensee, was used for the generation of the Freility Attachment which was prepared by the U.S. Negotiating Team and the IAEA Technical Peview Group.
The License Conditinn was developed for, and in con.iunction with, the licensee for the purpose of clarifying the intent of certain portions of the Facility Attachment.
The Facility Attactrrrt erd License Condition should be issued to the licensee as soon as possible. We understand that the requirer' ants of the "Sho11y Anendment" have Feen satisfied.
