SUBJECT:

STATdSREPORTFROMTHENRCINCIDENT IttVESTIGATION TEAM AT DAVIS BESSE At approximately 5:00pm on June 13, 1985, Dr. Rossi reported the following progress:

- Interviews with persons directly involved with the event continued.

- The team is developing the sequence of occurrences during the event.

A number of questions about various occurrences remain to be answered.

This will be forwarded when it is completed. Preparations for the planned. press conference have hampered the team's efforts to complete the development of an accurate sequence of occurrences.

In addition,- Tom Ippolito, Deputy Director of AE0D, left for Davis Besse in the evening of June 13 to assist the team and to serve as a liaison with the news media at the site. Preliminary plans are to hold a news conference today. Considerable media interest in the event has developed.
