74-9, the following information is submitted:
Circuit breakers of the described Calvert Cliffs type are a.
installed at Monticello. Discussions with the circuit breaker manufacturer (CE) indicate that oversized trip roller-bars are installed. Properly sized trip roller bars have been ordered and will be installed during the next refueling outage which is scheduled for January, 1975. It is noted that no circuit breaker f ailures of the type described in the RO Bulletin have been experienced at Monticello.

Switchgear of the Vermont Yankee type is not installed at Monticello; however, the switchgear which is installed does incorporate stationary auxiliary switch assemblies similar to those described. Mounting bolt tightness is checked as part of the annual preventive maintenance program, this program was completed 'during the Spring,- 1974, ' refueling outage and no loose mounting bolts were discovered.
Verification of mounting bolt tightness will_ continue to be-part 'of the established preventive maintenance program.
