-The Draft EIS is not complete yet. Our target date for its completion is July 31, 1985. When it is complete we will send you a copy for your infoma tion. You may send us your comments to or question us on any part of the Draft EIS. Your comments and questions,as well as our responses, will be published in the Final EIS. An opportunity for requesting a public hearing is not offered on a draft EIS; however, an opportunity for reouesting a i public hearing will be offered prior to our approval of the Decommissioning r- Plan. I will send you a copy of the Federal Register Notice providing an opportunity for hearing with respect to our approval of the decommissioning plan when it is available. The Federal Register Notice will provide
- h. information to you and other members of the public on how to request a public hearing pursuant to 10 CFR 2.714 on the decomissioning. Enclosure 1 is an 7' example of a Federal Register Notice that provides information on how to .
