Cancellation of Commitments There are several Portland Coneral Electric Company (PCE) commitment:2 portaining to continued operation of the Plant duo in the near future. The attachment to this letter describes the current action for those commitments.

PGE is continuing to review commitments made to the Nucioar Regulatory Commission (NRC).

Additional commitments identified that should bo canceled or modiflod will be the subject of future correspondence.

COMMIINENT In Licensee Event Report (LER) No. 91-30. Revision 1 Portland General Electric Company (PCE) committed to incorporate information on the ability of the turbino auxiliary feedwater pump (TAFP) to withstand temperatures greater than 104'F Into appropriate licensing and engit.eering design documents.

CurrenLAction The TAFP is only required in Modes 3, 2, and 1.

Since PGE plans to not_ operate the Plant in the future, these changes will not be made.

In the unlikely situation that this decision is reversed, this commitment will be readdressed.

B.

COMMITMENT In LER No. 91-30. Revision 1 PGE committed to revise the appropriate licensing documents, including PGE-1004 and PGE-1025. " Environmental Qualification Program Manual for the Trojan Nuclear Plant", and the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) to incorporate analyses of liigh Energy Line Break (!!ELB) environmental effects due to breaks in the Chemical Volume Control System (CVCS) letdown line, steam generator.

These systems are not pressurized in Modes 5 or 6 or while defueled.

COMMITMENT In LER No. 92-28, PGE connitted to revise operating proceduros to specify the maximum power level allowed with one condensate pump out of service and to provide guidance on operation.the Ilester Drain Tank' liigh Level Dump Valve Manual Bypass.
