}OYrICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PIMr Docket No. 5J-263 License No. DPR-22 Correction of Response to Regulatory Operations Bulletin No. 72-3 During the recent refueling outage all Limitorque valve operators at the
&nticello Nuclear Generating Plant were inspected to verify information previously reported in our January 19, 1973, letter which was submitted in response to Regulatory Operations Bulletin No. 72-3. 'Ihe previous infonnation, whici was based on a review of purchase records, was found to be incorrect.
It has been detennined that 12 unit size 98-00 and 22 unit size 90-000 valve operators are installed at Monticello, lhwever, only two of these are of the vintage described in the bulletin. These two operators are installed in the main turbine steam scal system. Although no malfunctions have been experienced, the torque switches for these two operators will be replaced prior to the end of the next refueling outage.
