Section 5.2.16 of this standard states that an evaluation shall be made and documented concerning a
the validity of previous tests and acceptability of devices previously tested from the time of the previous calibration when calibration, testing, or other measuring devices are found out of calibration.

s procedures place no time constraint on evaluating the safety implications when measuring and test equipment fails calibration.
In the I&C shop, 62 of 427 reports filed from December 1983 to December 1984 were not completed 5
