- REVIEW 0F SAFETY EVALUATION FOR INFORMATION PROPRIETARY TO ASEA-BROWN B0 VERI-COMBUSTION ENGINEERING--ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE; UNIT 2 (TAC NO. M84099)
On July 22, 1992, as supplemented by letter dated September ll, 1992. Entergy Operations, Inc., submitted a Technical S)ecifications change request to the NRC.
The request proposed revisions to tie surveillance requirements for Arkansas' Nuclear One, Unit 2 (ANO-2) steam generator (SG) tubing. The request proposedtheuseofAseaBrownBoveri-CombustionEngineering-(ABB-CE) sleeves for tube repair of ANO-2 SGs. As part of that submittal, ABB-CE Re> ort CEN -
601-P (Revision 01-P), "ANO-2 Steam Generator Tube Repair Using Lea ( Tight Sleeves," was provided.
In response to NRC staff raquests for additional information, other submittals included Procedure 00000-ESE-826.," Procedure for the Qualification of the Roll Transition Zone (RTI) Sleeve Rolled Joint," and Test Report-TR-ESE-887, " Test Report for the Qualification of the Roll Transition Zone Sleeve for Westinghouse 'D' Series Steam Generators."
Information contained in the above reports and procedure has been designated as proprietary to ABB-CE. NRC technical staff reviewed the reports and procedure to obtain supplemental information-in preparing the draft Safety Evaluation (SE) enclosed. The SE will be included in an Operating License Amendment for ANO-2.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790, we have determined that the SE'does not contain proprietary information. However, we will delay placing the SE in the public-document room for a period of ten-(10) working days from the date of this qqp p1E Fig"?W @%I Mgu 2 RL "' e u r - e " *" i L
