DPR-44 DPR-56 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attnt Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 SUBJECT Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3 Technical Specifications Change Request 88-08, Supplement 2, Request for Additional Information Dear Sir Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) hereby submits Technical Specifications Change Request (TSCR) No. 88-08, Supplement 2, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, requesting a change to Appendix A of the Peach Bottom Facility Operating Licenses.
The proposed changes concern rewording of two of the surveillance requirements proposed in our original TSCR 88-08, submitted January 31, 1992.
The two surveillance requirements (SR), 4.9.A.1.2.f.2 and 4.9.A.1.2.f.3 concern the Residual Heat Removal (RHR) pump load reject and the continuous load reject, respectively.
The proposed change will clarify the initial voltage that must be maintained when the loads are rejected, and the load reject value.
j Further, these two surveillance requirements were proposed to be performed on a 24 month frequency as part of PECo's conversion to 24 month fuel.
In our September 28, 1992 submittal, we requested that these two surveillance requirements be renumbered 4.9.A.1.2.g.1 and 4.9.A.1.2.g.2, and provided a retyped page 218d.
Because both the January 31, 1992 and the September 28, 1992 requests are still pending we have provided l
two copies of page 218d; one showing the SR as an 18 month i
frequency and the other as a 24 month frequency.
