Dear Mr. Rooney:
Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNH2728), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched uranium for the conversion to UO2 and manufacture of U02 into pellets in France. The pellets will be returned to Babcock & Wilcox Company in the United States. Assurances from EURATOM are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
Please note that a portion of the material is of Canadian origin.
