Subsequent to our telephone conversation, I have enclosed a copy of cur program description on Epidemiologic Surveillance in Pennsylvania: A Case of Nuclear Power Plants.

As you.can see, this nas come out of the TMI episode and, thus, has been reviewed and supported by our TH2 Advisory Panel and the Secretary of Health.

I hope this brief description will give you ennugh infonnation to have general understanding of this program.

Since it is related (perhaps indirectly) to the function of FaC. I thought you might be interested.

In the near future, I am planning a joint briefing with you and representatives of other concerned agencias including PEMA and DER.
