Dear Ms. Grice:
This is in regard to your letter dated April 9,1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), copies of certain records that NRC made available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) in response to another F0IA request, FOIA-85-79.
Your letter was transmitted to this office by the PDR staff because this office is responsible for administering the agency's F0IA program. We have assigned your letter number F01A-85-257 and have returned it to the PDR staff to search for the records and respond to you.
In the event that in the future you wish to obtain copies of any additional NRC records that are maintained at the PDR, we suggest that you order such records directly from the PDR without specifying that your request is pursuant to the F0IA.
In that way, the PDR can promptly fill your order rather thar transmit your letter to this office for processing as an F0IA request. How-ever, in the event you may be interested in certain records which the NRC does not routinely place into the PDR, an F0IA request would be appropriate.
