lila)SION/ CORROSION WORKSilOp Valley Forge Sheraton llotel and Convention Center February 9,1993 The objective of the workshop is to address current crosion/ corrosion (!!C) issues by promoting industry, NRC, and research organitation discussions in regard to !!C_ in high energy, carbon J
steel piping systems. The morning of the workshop is divided into presentations by industry, i
NRC, and lipHI members relative to the implementation of !!C programs by industry licensees.
l The afternoon of the workshop will allow particip.mts to attend one of three discussion groups (breakout sessions). The breakout sewions cover the following areas relative to isnplementation of liC monitoring programs: (a) liC monitoring program scopes, including methods for selecting systems and components for inspection, (b) practices for inspecting carbon steel comixments, and (c) methods of evaluating inspection data and disimitioning results. The discussion groups will present their findings to the collective workshop audience at the end of the breakout sessions, l'inal concluding remarks will be made by industry and NRC members at the end of the workshop program.
