Dear Jim:
On June 20, 1985, you are scheduled to visit the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station along with Commissioner Asselstine to review our efforts in our SALP Improvement Program.
In discussion with members of your staff, we have arranged an agenda for the day that would be as follows:
1.
Update on Current Status of SALP Improvement Program Thie will be an update of the presentation we made to you March b, 1985.
It will outline what we said we were going to do, what we've accomplished, problems that have been encountered along with corrective actions taken, and improvements we've seen.
2.
Performance Measures Program At our meeting on March 6, we mentioned our Performance Measures Program as one of our management tools we are utilizing to effect improved performance. You and members of your staff requested additional information about this program and suggested we might want to have a presentation on it.
We will include that presentation as part of our agenda for the day.
3.
Plant tour This would be a tour similar to the last time you and Commissioner Asselstine visited the Station, and I understand Walt Rogers will be available to conduct the tour as before.

Mr. James G. Keppler June 4, 1985 I recommend we commence the meeting at 9 A.M. at the Administration Building where we will go through Agenda Items 1 and 2.
We then have lunch scheduled for 11:30 A.M., and following lunch you would have the afternoon free for your Plant tour.
