Dear Mr. Chernoff:

Under cover letter dated July 16, 1992, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff concurred on the final Completion Report and all associated documents pertinent to the completed remedial action at the inactive uranium mill tailings site in 3reen River, Utah.

This cover letter also transmitted a copy of the NRC's final Completion Review Report (CRR) and the signat.are pages.

Unfortunately, we enclosed an earlier draf t version of the final CRR that contained material from the de di CP.R of October 1991. Specifically, it carried over our statement of non-concurrence in Section 3.0 from the draft CRR be result, the final Green River Completion Review Report has been re-issued a is being transmitted under cover of this letter.
