Dear Mr. Aftergood:
This is in response to your letter dated January 18, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Infomation Act, copies of all public coments submitted in response to a Federal Register notice published by the NRC on October 3, 1984. This notice announced the public availability of an NRC staff document entitled " Program Plan to Review the Effectiveness of LWR Regulatory Requirements in Limiting Risk." You also requested copies of any correspondence containing suggestions rgceived by the NRC for modification or elimination of LWR regulations, and any NRC responses.
Enclosed are copies of the four public comments 1;sted on the attached Appendix which respond to your request. The stafi has informed us that no other coments have been received.
