POD ASSEMPLY FCR THE BWR4/5 C LATTICE" IM have completed our review of the sub.fect topical report suhaitted by General Flectric Company (gel by letter dated February 20, 1985. We find the report to be acceptable for referencing in license applications to the extent scecified and under the limitations delineated in the report and the associated NRC evaluation, which is enclosed. The evaluation defines the basis for acceptance of the report.
We do not intend to ropeat our review of the ratters described in the res; ort and found acceptable wFer the report appears as a reference in license applications, except to assure that the materlat presented is applicable to the specific plar.t irvelved. Our acceptance applies only to the matters described in the report.
In acenrdance with procedures established in NUREG-0390, it is tre,uested that Of publish accepted versions of this report, proprietary and non-proprietary, within three ronths of receipt of this letter.
The arrented versions shall frecrporate this letter and the enclosed evaluation between the title parm and the abstract. The accepted versinnt shall include an -A (designatino accertrd) following the report identification syrbol.

ACCEPTANCE FOR REFERENCING OF LICENSING TOPICAL REPORT NEDE-22290, SUPPLEMENT I, " SAFETY EVALUATION OF THE GENERAL ELECTRIC HYBRID I CONTROL ROD ASSEMBLY FOR THE BWR4/5 C LATTICE" We have completed our review of the subject topical report submitted by General Electric Company (GE) by letter dated February 20, 1985. We find the report to be acceptable for referencing in license applicaticns to the extent specified and under the limitations delineated in the report and the associated NRC evaluation, which is enclosed.
