SECY-92-414 - PROPOSED RENkWAL OF THE PROTOCOL ON COOPERATION JN NUCLEAR SAFETY MATTERS BETWEEN THE NRC AND THE PRC The Commission (with all Commissioners agreeing) has approved the staff proposal to forward the letter in the subject paper to the State Department for final U.S.
interagency review and clearance, which would amend and extend the NRC-NNSA Protocol for five more years.
The Commission understands that the staff will simultaneously give an advance copy to the NNSA and formally notify oversight committees of Congress of the NRC's intent to
