ment thereto dated May 31, 1985, the Government Accountability Project on 1
behalf of the Nuclear Awareness Network requested that the Nuclear Regulatory Connission take certain actions regarding allegations of safety-refated deft-ciencies at the Wolf Creek facility before authorizing full power operation.
The petitioner requested the Connission to analyze safety-related deficiencies in the licensee's " Quality First" program files, detennine the significance of the deficiencies for any findings on the adequacy of the licensee's quality assurance program and to investigate the licensee's conduct of the " Quality First" program. The petition is being handled as a request for action pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 and, accordingly, appropriate action will be taken on the petition within a reasonable time.
