FEMA 0FFSITE EXERCISE REPORT FOR V0GTLE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT Please find enclosed a copy of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Report for the offsite portion of the Vogtle Power Plant Exercise of May 19-20, 1992.
During the exercise, no Deficiencies or Areas Requiring Corrective Action were identified. However, 24 Areas Recommended for Improvement (ARFis) were noted.
An ARFI is defined by FEMA as an aspect of emergency preparedness that could be improved but is not required to maintain FEMA approval.
We encourage you to assist the appropriate organizations.in resolving these improvement items identified by FEMA.
Resolution of these items should be completed prior to the next full-scale emergency preparedness exercise.
