Reference is made to a February 26, 1985 telephone conversation between your Mr. Mowry and Mr. Rentschler of my staff regarding physical security require-inents at your facility. As requested during that conversation, we are reissuing the Materials and Plant Protection Amendment to your License No.
SNM-696. That amendment, which is being redesignated as Safeguards Amendment SG-1, is contained as Enclosure A to this letter.
We are also providing extracts from reference materials on protective barriers which your Mr. Mowry requested during that same telephone conversation. These materials are provided as Enclosures B and C. Finally, we agree that a response to my lettcr of July 16, 1984, regarding certain physical protection situations, is now no 1cnger necessary in licht of the imntinent change in production activity at your facility. In thn regard we look forward to a visit by members of your staff to discuss how the safeguards program should be revised to make it consistent with the changed nature of your operations.
