In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 I
coDies of a requested amendment to licerse DPR-33 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuolear Plant unit 1 (Enclosure 1).
The proposed amendment requests changes in the technical specifications to accommodate reload 4 cycle 5 operation of unit 1 Also enclosed is an explanation of the changes and justification for the changea (Enclosure 2).
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined the proposed amendment to be Class III. Thie-classification is based on the j
fact that the proposed amendment involves a single safety issue which does not involve a significant hazard consideration. The remittance for $4,000 is being wired to the NRC, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
