SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-498/92-30; 50-499/92-30
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. M. Runyan and the inspectors
identified in the enclosed report October 13-16 and November 16-20, 1992, on
site, and the December 4,1992, conference call with Mr. Pacy and other
members of your staff.
The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your South Texas Project Units 1 and 2, facility.
At the
conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed those members of
your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
Your July 9, 1992, response to our MOV Inspection 50-498;499/92-06, and the
subsequent actions you have taken and information~you have provided were
reviewed during this inspection.
From our review we have concluded that no
further response is requested.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified,
in ac" 'ance with 10 CFR Part 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy
of thi.
