GE0 TECHNICAL ENGINEERING SUPPORT CALCULATIONS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT - RIVERTON UMTRA SITE In response to Technical Assistance Request #85017, WMEG has been reviewing the calculations related to settlement, slope stability, and liquefaction for the Riverton UMTRA site. We need clarification on several issues regarding the liquefaction analysis before we can complete our review in this area. A telephone call was made to Ron Rager (Sergent, Hauskins and Beckwith) and he referred us to Burke Mitchell (Sergent, Hauskins, and Beckwith). Since Burke Mitchell was not available, we were not able to contact him. We intend to pursue this matter further.
A support document referenced in the settlement calculations has been requested from Bill Mason (Jacobs Engineering Group) on May 10 and again on May 29. We are awaiting this document to finalize our review of the settlement calculations. We are continuing our review of the slope stability calculations.
We will notify you if we identify any major problems regarding the calculations.
