Docket No. 50-277 Peach Botton Unit 3 Technical specification Meierenoo 3.2.5 Report No. 2-81-23/IP Occurrence Datas 4/1/81 Identification of occurrences Three drywell pressure transmitters valved out of service.
Conditions Prior to occurrences Unit 2 operating at 100% power.
Apparent cause of occurrences During investigation of anomalcajs indications on drywell pressure indicators three of eight pressure transmitters were found valved out of service. Cause is presently under investigation.

At this time, it appears that these three instruments (PT-100A, PT-1000, and i
PT-12B) were valved out during the unit 2 refueling outage which ended in August of 1980.
Investigation continues to determine the cause. Sufficient drywell pressure instrumentation reasimed in service to cause required MPS, PCIS, and ECCS initiation.
Corrective Actiont l
The valves were issnediately opened upon discovery. Doerability of the other five instruments was verified.
