Enclosed is a-letter from General Electric, dated November 16 requesting j,
amendments to export license XSNM01662 to:

1)-extend'the expiration date from 31 January 1995 to 30 June 2013;

- 2) increase the quantity 'of materials authorized for export from 478,800 i=
kilograms uranium /ll,400 ki?ograms uranium-235.to 622,600 kilograms, i
uranium /21,000 kilograms uranium-235 (an increase:of 143,800 kilograms uranium /9,600 kilograms uranium-235);.

- 3) increase enrichment from 4 percent to 5 percent, weight percent maximum;

- 4) change the end-use statement from Taiwan Nuclear Units 7 and 8;to Taiwan-l Nuclear Units Lungmen 1 and 2;-
- 5) change the address ofLthe' ultimate: consignee';
- 6) change the address of.the intermediate ~ consignee.
