Your letter of January 20, 1981, in which you gave'your views about a proposed change of NRC regulations involving the disposal of liquid scintillation media and animal carcasses, has been received by my office.
The Federal Register Notice asking for public comment was published on October 8, 1980, and the comment period expired on November 24, 1980.
Nonetheless, I am forwarding your letter to NRC's Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, in Washington, for such considera-tion as is still practicable.
