SUBJECT: NRG INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-416/92-23
This refers to the inspection conducted by F. N. Wright of_ this office on
October 19-23, 1992. The inspection included a review of activities
authcrized for your Grand Gulf facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection,
the findings were discussed with those members of your staff' identified in the
report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspecti0n consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representai.ive records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
,
identified.
Your attention is directed to the Exercise Weakness identified in Paragraph 7-
of the er. closed Inspection Report. As required by 10 CFR'50, Appendix E,
Section IV.F. any weaknesses that are identified shall be corrected.
Accordingly, please advise us, within 45 days of the date of this letter,-of
the corrective action you have taken or plan to take, showing the estimated
date of completion with regard to the exercise weakness.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this -letter and its enclosure

will be placed 'in the NRC Public Document Room.
