RESPONSE TO NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-445/92-33; 50-446/92-33 Thank you for your letter of November 5,1992, in response to our letter and Notice of Violation (Notice), dated October 6,1992. We have reviewed your reply and find that additional information is needed as discussed with Mr. Tim Hope of your staff on December 16, 1992.
Your response did act address your plans and schedule for review of this matter on Unit 1.
Al a, your response did not address action you had taken to assure that other TUE t,rms with potential impact on Unit I were appropriately evaluated.
Furthermore, your action to prevent recurrence of this violation did not address action to assure that an appropriate threshold for initiation of a programmatic / repetitive TUE form is established and implemented in the future.
We request that you provide a supplemental response within 30 days of the receipt of this letter to provide the requested additional information.
Should you have any questions, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
