Dear Mr. Felton,
This refers to my referenced FOIA request of November 1,
1984 for information concerning initial operator written examination results on a number of post-TMI 2 plants.
By letter dated December 11,
- 1984, you provided information in four categories that pertained to the results of various operator written examinations.
We have reviewed the information provided in your letter and find
- that, in most cases, it is not responsive to my request.
The information does not pertain to the initial examination results.
By
" initial",
I meant the cold licensing exams given before the initial operation of each unit.
For
- example, San Onofre Unit 2 was licensed on February 16, 1982; the cold license exams were given in October 1981.
Rowe've r,
the information provided to us was for 1983 and 1984.
Most of the data provided for the other plants was similarly for th_ period subsequent to initial plant licensing.
I continue to request the desired information.
Attached is a
table showing the dates of initial licensing.
Thus the data requested should be for those examinations given prior to the licensing date.
In addition, where information for multiple plants on a site is requested, we need the data for the cold examinations given for each unit, separately.
Where the cold examination was waived for the second unit, please so state.
