Dear Ms. Fox:

This is in response to your letter dated February 26, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of two categories of specified documents.

Enclosed is that portion of the Federal Personnel Manual which discusses employment of the physically handicapped.

For your information, the NRC staff noted that all issues involving building alterations, renovations and modifications fall within the purview of the General Services Administration (GSA). The NRC, as a tenant in GSA provided space, does not contribute or participate in such considerations and, accordingly, does not maintain records pertaining to the matter. With regard to provision of communication aids to handicapped people, the NRC does provide assistance. Amplification devices or other aids are available upon request of NRC employees..However, no formal records are maintained other than normal requisitions and purchasing documents subsequent to the satisfaction of internal service requests and their performance.

If you wish to submit an FOIA request to GSA, you may address your request to the official identified beled.
