SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-285/92-25
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. L. E. E11ershaw, and the
inspectors identified in the attached report, of this of_fice on September 28
through October 2, and a subsequent technical meeting conducted on October 28,
1992, to discuss high energy line break considerations as related to auxiliary
steam piping. The inspection included a review of activities acthorized for
your Fort Calhoun Station facility. At the conclusion of the onsite
inspection on October 2,1992, and at the technical meeting held in our office
on October 28, 1992, the inspection findings were discussed with you and those
members or your staff as identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection and the topics discussed during the
October 28, 1992, meeting are identified in the report. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.

In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2.790 af the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy
of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document
Room.
