52LLtPOC ECif.1R PLA'JT - NP07.5 PE?.MIT NO. ALOO24635 - C05STRUCTIOil IITECTS :10'.1120 RING *CPORT, 1974-1979 taclosed is a copy of the report of the aquatic conatruction effects tunitoring program implemented at the Collefonte Nucisar Power Plant for the period 1974-1979.
This report is submitted in accordance with Part I, Section 3.1.b. and Part III, Section 6 of the NPPES Permit 1:o.
AL3J24633.
3ased on the results of the monitoring effort, taere is no need or justification for cont 1nuation of the construction effects monitoring pro;rram. As allowed in Part III, Section 4, we rococemend that the current.acnitoring program as described in the enclosed report be dis-continued effective Juna 1. 1930. We request that the permit be modified to refleet this change. It is T7A's opinion that adequate requirmeents for monitoring of point sources of construction runoff and maintenance of required settling pond voltznes be included in Part I of the S? DES permit to provide the continued protection of the aquatic environment.
Sito inspections of the nature described in the enclosed report sill also be continued on at least a quarterly basis to complement the Part I requiraeents.
J Sincerely, 1
