CRGR REVIEW 0F ADVANCED NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING (ANPR) CONCERNING 10 CFR PART 60 (INCORPORATION OF HLW DEFINITION IN THE RULE)
At CRGR Meeting No. 75, R. Browning (NMSS) briefed the Comittee regarding an ANPR concerning 10 CFR Part 60, " Disposal of High-Level Wastes in Geologic Repositories." The proposed ANPR (rule revision) is to define high level waste (HLW). As discussed in the CRGR meeting minutes, the Comittee has since ccnsidcred the ANPR which was provided by RES after the CRGR meeting. A recent poll of the Comittee members indicates that CRGR review of the ANPR is not necessary.
