The rnakeup tank level was dropping slowly. The licensec. at approximately 1258, initieted an caergency alarm followed by trie anncuncenaent that thers was e local er ergency declared in t.he euxiliary building. The auxiliary building was evuctated.

Tnere was no indication of any of f tite release. The licensee is currently isolating the taakeup .sy- te::: and has sent personnel into the auxiliary building to check the system for indication of the leak.

At 1440 Lhe luck was isolated. The apparent location anti Cause of the leak Was the pressdre switch on the "B" makeup puap. t he s tandby systen pressure control system tras L.r cn initiated to main ta in rnakeup and a reactor cyste.n pressurc stabili ty.

The licensee has iMde a r.ews release and the NRC plans to rnake a news. release.

The Contrunngdl En, of Fennsylvania has been notified.
