Dear Sir:

In Reference (1),

Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) submitted Technical Specifications Change Request (TSCR) 91-07,

" Revisions to Surveillance - Frequency Definition."

In Reference (2), the NRC issued Amendment Nos_.

166 and 170 to the facility operating licenses for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS),

Units 2 and 3, respectively.

As stated in Reference (2),. the amendments would be placed into ef fect upon successful implementation of the Plant Information Management System (PIMS)

Surveillance Testing module.-

If

' implementation was. not complete by May 31, 1992,. PECo was to notify the NRC and provide a revised schedule.

Additionally, PECo was to notify the NRC when the module was implemented.

In Reference (3),

PECo indicated that the PIMS module.would not be implemented by May 31, 1992, and provided'a revised schedule.

PECo reaffirmed the commitment to inform the NRC when implementation was complete.

The purpose of'this letter-is to' inform you.that the PIMS Surveillance Testing module has been implemented, and the ef fective i

date of Amendment Nos. 166 and 170 was December 14, 1992.
