This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. A. D. Gaines of this office on

December 2, 1992.

The inspection included a review of at.tivities authorized

for the Nuclear Reactor Center. At the o.nclusion of the inspection, the

findings were discussed with those member

of your staff identified in the

enclosed report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.

Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress.

Withiti the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.

In accor dance with 10 CFR 2,790 of the NRC's " Rules of P. ctice, a copy of

this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
