Dear Mr. MacDonald:
On December 10, 1984 (Ref. 1), General Electric submitted the stress analysis report '(NEDE-30779) for the proposed Model 2000 shipping container. At that time, General Electric requested that the docunent be held and treated as proprietary.
On April 17, 1985 (Ref. 2), you responded that only Appendix B of NEDE-30779 appeared to contain proprietary information and provided a twenty-day period for response. General Electric-Is preparing a more. detailed affidavit to demonstrate the proprietary nature of NEDE-30779 but will not be able to meet the twenty-day time frame. Accordingly, General Electric requests an extension of time to May 21, 1985, in which to camlete that affidavit.
