" Trojan Nuclear Plant Control Building P:uceedings" Sirs:
'Je received in our mail today a flyer outlining mandato:7 power curtail-ment proceedings.
I called my Electric Company to see what, if anything, I could do to solve the problem before ceircumstances get that far along. It was suggested that I write to you and voice my feelings in the matter.
Like most Gregonians, we are concerned about the Power shortage.
'Je have, within 50 miles of our community, a Uuclear Power Plant--Troj an, that has been "down" more than operating.
From all that I have been able to read and understand of the situation, most of the "down timen has been due to rio-thing more dangerous than petitions signed by anti-nuclear power forces.
'le are tired of the additional expense to the Company--and therefore to uss--that is caused by the delays in getting Trojan back on line.
'Je wuld recommend that Trojan be put back on line or, as an alternative, that anti-nuclear power petition signers be pechibited from using electricity in' areas I
served by !!uclear Power.
Sincerely,
.. /)
